after some debate, I've decided to let go a couple pieces in my collection.
Up for sale is the beautiful Longines Avigation Type A-7, ref. L2.8220.127.116.11
It comes at a much more wearable 41mm size, compared to the first reissue's 49mm.
The watch is powered by caliber L788 (a highly modified ETA 7753), 54 hour power reserve, with a really desirable column wheel & monopusher design.
I bought this piece brand new about 10 months ago and it is in great condition.
There is very minimal sign of use, maybe just a few hairlines here and there.
The watch runs and functions perfectly. The chrono starts and resets crisply with no issue at all.
The strap is also in mint condition as I swapped it out short after getting the watch.
It comes as a complete set, with its huge presentation box, all manuals, the quick set date pusher, and a blank warranty card.
If you are reading this thread, you prob already know how unique and hard to find this piece is---so grab it if you've been a fan. You may not see another piece for sale for a while.
My price is $2300 shipped & paypaled. US sale only.
I welcome a face to face deal around SoCal.
I will consider trading up for following pieces (complete box & papers only):
1. Breguet Type XX 3800/3820
2. Breitling Navitimer 01 43mm
3. Current Omega Speedmaster Professional moon watch.
4. Panerai Radiomir 183, 210, 610, Luminor 111, 510
Thanks for looking!
