I ordered it from Gnomon, took off the plastic to look at the watch and rotate the bezel, but decided it wasn't for me. I put the plastic back on, and then took it off again for photos. That's it. I didn't wear the strap or really even put on the watch. There's lots of mirror polish on this watch, but I'm pretty sure there are no scratches at all.
Because I took the plastic off, I don't know if I could return it to Gnomon. Plus, international returns are a hassle. So up here it goes.
I can confirm that the watch works, but since I've looked at it for a total of maybe 30 minutes, can't guarantee time keeping. As I said, this was purchased from Gnomon, so there's a warranty backing it.
Comes with inner and outer box, leather(-ette?) pouch, papers, and the watch. Sorry about the awful photo quality-- my office has really bad lighting. Also included is one pic from Gnomon so you can get a better idea about how the watch looks.
I'm looking for $900, shipped in the U.S. with payment by PayPal. I might be interested in trades, too. Maybe something from Halios, Monta, Ball, Stowa, or Chris Ward. Seiko SARX015 or 033 or SARB001 or 005, or a Citizen Grand Classic in black (with cash from you). Maybe an Omega Speedy Reduced (with some cash from me). Nothing quartz. Nothing larger than 42mm or 50mm lug-to-lug. Probably no divers, or at least watches with external dive bezels (except from Monta or Halios)--I just have too many divers already. I'm willing to trade down, but I'll shy away from trades for watches worth less than about $400. If you're interested in a two-for-one trade, I also have a Rotary with a Swiss auto movement, a Hamilton Jazzmaster Square, and a Prometheus Jellyfish Yellow that will be available and posted soon. I might also be willing to party with my STO Samurai, Spinnaker Brader, Bernhardt Corsair Batman, Poljot Journey chronograph, or Chris Ward C65 GMT if the right deal were to come along. Send me a PM -- the worst I can say is no.
Thanks for looking, and onto the pics!
