For sale is my Rally Blue Pearl 1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS with a jdm wrx swap. The engine is an ej205 out of a 2001 jdm wrx. This engine does have AVCS hooked up and running properly on the jdm ecu. This has the td04hl turbo which is a little bigger than the usdm td04. The transmission is a stock rs transmission with ~100k miles on it. This car is an absolute blast to drive, and is definitely quicker than an early year wrx. I have a 2003 wrx with "stage 2" upgrades and this car blows it away. Being it is almost a 20 year old car, there are some areas that could use some attention, but it is nowhere near the condition most other 2.5RS's in this year range are. There is some rust but like I said, not like other impreza 2.5RS's of this year range. Brand new ACT heavy duty clutch (ACT SB2-HDSS) and ACT Xact Streetlite lightweight flywheel just put in December 2016. Below I will list out all the upgrades and defects with the car.
-Maintenance performed at time of swap includes: Gates timing belt kit with water pump, new thermostat, fresh coolant and conditioner.
-Swap was performed at a Subaru Specialty shop in NJ, I do have paperwork for everything listed in this ad. The engine bay looks clean and everything is in good working shape.
-This car was recently tuned by TPG Tuning in Blairsville, PA (very good well known Subaru tuning shop), I have the receipt and dyno graphs for it. It put down 249 whp and 233wtq on their Mustang Dyno.

-Grimmspeed Ceramic coated crosspipe with DEI lava heatwrap (bought new has 1k miles on it)
-STi catless uppipe with DEI lava heatwrap
-APS Full Turbo back exhaust (Rare) with high flow cat and test pipe with DEI lava heatwrap
-Grimmspeed EBCS (bought new has 1k miles on it)
-AEM Intake
-Brand new OEM front 02 sensor (bought new has 1k miles on it)
-One step colder plugs put in September 2016
-New OEM fuel filter put in September 2016
-All gaskets used on the exhaust were Grimmspeed extra thick gaskets to ensure no leaks.

Clean title on the car.
There is no CEL on the dash, this car honestly runs very well and with the peppy jdm wrx engine and lightwight body it takes off pretty quick compared to the wrx we have here in the states.
-Airbag light is on due to Sparco steering wheel (can do a resistor mod to fix this)
-ABS light is on. Front driver side abs sensor needs replaced.
-There is a couple areas where the rust has taken its toll, pictures should showcase most of it
-Couple random places were paint has a scratch or small ding
-A/C does not work, most of the components were removed but I have them.
-Has nice gold OEM wheels, but they do have some scuffs from previous owner.
-Front passenger side wheel bearing sounds like it is starting to go.
I have a lot of time and money invested into this car, and I feel as though the asking price is within reason, however I am willing to negotiate on the price. This is the perfect vehicle if you can't quite afford to buy an STi swapped one that go from 15-20k. Kind of like an in between really thanks to the jdm ej205 with avcs, boost comes on instantly. This coupe is really in pretty decent shape for what most of them from this year looks like, and it runs very well. I am asking 10,500 obo for the car, it will also come with a ton of stock parts and a couple nice aftermarket parts as well. No lowballs will be accepted, no trades either just looking to sell to fix up a different project I picked up. I am in no rush to sell this beauty. Best way to reach me in through text.
